SALT LAKE CITY, UT (AUGUST 14, 2017) CibusDx announced today that it has been awarded a US Government STEP Grant and selected to participate in a Trade Mission to Singapore and Vietnam sponsored by Utah Governor Gary Herbert, and the Utah World Trade Center. The Mission is designed to foster new trade relations between Utah, Singapore, and Vietnam. It will be led by Governor Gary Herbert, and will include meetings with potential customers, agents, and government officials. CibusDx and the other members of the delegation will also receive market specific briefings for each location.

“Southeast Asia has both the fastest growing economy and population in the world”, said CibusDx CEO Jared Bauer. “We are honored to attend this trade mission with Governor Herbert and the Utah World Trade Center. Southeast Asia is of particular interest to CibusDx as we are currently developing tests on our system which are critical to the shrimp production industry. Since 75% of all shrimp consumed come from ASEAN nations and China, this mission will permit us to meet with customers, potential industry partners, and government leaders.”

The mission will take place from August 28 to September 1, 2017.
