Cibus Diagnostics

Cibus is currently commercializing a handheld, cost effective, portable, and rapid pathogen detection system dedicated to rapidly detecting disease in animals.  This platform has already been developed, and the Company continues to invest heavily in R&D to commercialize specific tests.

Test Strips

The test strips use our proprietary APOLLOMER probes that bind to the analyte of interest. The binding allows the hardware to detect the analyte.

  • 02

Test strips are currently being developed for White Spot Syndrome Virus.

  • 03

The test strips are meant for one time use and are disposable.

  • 04

The test strips work similarly to a test strip you would use with a glucometer. They have a long shelf life, and are very easy to use.

Cibus Biotechnologies
Analyzer

Unlike traditional testing hardware, our device is very low cost. (only a few hundred dollars)

  • 02

The analyzer performs an electrochemical analysis of the test strips.

  • 03

The analyzer determines what test is present automatically sets parameters on the app, and performs the test.

  • 04

The analyzer reports the test data to the smart device being used.

App

The Cibus app has been developed for the Android operating system and will be available for iOS at commcerialization.

  • 02

The app is the brains of the operation. It sets the incubation time, the parameters for the test, analyzes the test data. Test results are then provided either quantitatively or qualitatively to the user, in a simple, easy to read format.

  • 03

To start the test the user simply opens the app and pushes “start test”.

  • 04

The app has been developed with simplicity in mind.

The Cloud Environment

Image
  • 01

Every test that is performed on the Cibus system is reported to the cloud environment.

  • 02

Integrating test results directly into Quality Management Systems is fast and simple.

  • 03

Each test is logged with a GPS tag and identifying information. This allows those who need the data fast to have it in real time.

  • 04

In the future, advanced analytics will be performed on test results in the cloud.
